24 hours ago we created a Spotify account for THE 48. Why would we do that when we already have a ton of social media sites? Well for one its best to situate your presence in as many places as possible but, don’t do it to just do it, you need to be seamless and natural on all your social sites. Music is a natural mix with film-making, as an editor I am forever refreshing and evolving my ear to suit the mood, tone and vibe of whatever I’m editing. Without the soundscape, score and various forms of soundtrack, we would be missing 50% of the core and essence of what we are watching. Seeing is only one component of the experience, the emotional core is felt in large part by the aural aspect.
