ATTENTION MANITOBA BANDS, MUSICIANS, COMPOSERS, ACTORS, FILMMAKERS & AURAL VISUAL CREATIVES:
Manitoba Music and ACTRA are celebrating with the newest arts organization on the block, The 48 Film Festival!! This event will be facilitated via Google Meet live stream. We aim to connect local musicians, actors and filmmakers for future collaborations.
This will be a 2 hour event that will begin with the introduction of The 48 Film Festival’s introduction to the space, talk about the partnerships and about future activities. After the announcements all attendees will be given the opportunity to join in a chat circle to introduce themselves and talk about any upcoming projects or interests that are brewing. If you or someone who you know performs music, makes films, acts or interested in getting involved, please send them to this event.
COVID-19 has been rough on all of us and it’s been a challenge making connections without meeting in person. This new initiative will be a space to build new relationships, contribute to each other’s projects, stimulate the creative juices, learn something new and connect with new and old friends both within and beyond the borders of Manitoba’s thriving arts scene.
