The 48 Film Challenge (Manitoba) will send 16 films to premiere at the Gimli International Film Festival (GIFF) on Saturday, July 29th @ 4pm in the Gimli Theatre!
Congratulations ๐ to all the filmmakers selected to go to the Gimli International Film Festival under The 48 Film Festival banner (please see the list below). Our GIFF screening will be on Saturday, July 29, 2023 at 4pm in the Gimli Theatre. Those who wish to come out and support the filmmakers, you can buy additional tickets for $12 at this GIFF link. You can also buy an industry pass for $99 OR for those under the age of 25 buy a pass for $25. These passes get you into any movie via the rush line.

The 48 Film Festival created this cross-country challenge to stimulate collaborative independent filmmaking in Canada and elevate fresh, unknown and rising independent voices. โThe festival aims to include Quรฉbec and Nunavut, and all other provinces and territories not yet represented. We strongly encourage the use of French, Indigenous, and other languages of the rich tapestry of cultures across the ten million squares of this land.โ
