The 48 Film Festival will conclude its Manitoba encore expanded screening at the Centre Culturel Franco-Manitobain – CCFM (340 blvd. Provencher in St. Boniface in La Gallerie ~ the hall next to Stellas) on Wednesday, August 17th at 7pm. Come early because the space will fill up fast, doors open at 6:30pm.
There will be a screening for all films, a Best Of awards ceremony (including Audience Choice) and a reception with cash bar and refreshments. We will also reveal the top two jury selected films that will represent Manitoba for our Canada-wide Film Challenge at the TIFF Bell Lightbox in Toronto 2023. Lastly, we will hold a silent auction; a fundraiser to raise funds towards support for the two participating teams travelling to Toronto and towards a filmmaker award in memory of our beloved co-founder and board member Jean du-Toit (1969-2022).
