2024 CCFM ENCORE SCREENING CEREMONY & RECEPTION In 9 days, on Tuesday, August 27th | reception at 6pm | screening at 7pm. The 48 Film Festival will host its 9th annual encore expanded screening at the Centre Culturel Franco-Manitobain (CCFM) – 340 blvd. Provencher in St. Boniface in La Gallerie ~ the hall next to Stellas). Come early, because we will food and beverage you first and the lines will be long.
WHAT TO EXPECT We will begin with a reception, featuring FREE food/beverages and a silent auction fundraiser: the funds made, help to support the artists (you) and all associated programming. There will be a screening for all 40 films, a Best Of awards ceremony — which includes the top two jury-selected films that will represent Manitoba in the Canada-wide Film Challenge at the TIFF Bell Lightbox in Toronto 2025.
